Lisa Frank

I remember the best part about going back to school was getting school supplies: New crayola markers, erasable pens and Lisa Frank folders. I'm positive every little girl owned at least one thing by Lisa Frank whether it had dolphins jumping in front of a rainbow or funky bears dancing. The scenarios were trippy (but we only dreamed about them) and the colors were vibrant.
This editorial in September's Teen Vogue really reminds me of the technicolor, girl-ruled world of Lisa Frank :)

As a 1-5th grader I was obsessed with Lisa Frank. I had the folders, erasers, sticker books, pencils, etc. That editorial really has a similar vibe, total blast from the past.

To this day I still but Lisa Frank notebooks. I have an obsession with them.

This was undoubtedly the best editorial in the September issue. I was especially smitten with the shot of the quilted rain boots sticking out of the tent. So perfectly bright! :)

Aww I remember those days where I would just wait for my school supplies list to arrive. Shopping for new crayolas was the most amazing thing in the world even though I had a gazilion more at home.

I loved the editorial as well and you're right. It does remind me a lot of shopping for Lisa Frank.

I love the other-worldly colors in this spread. Now I feel I need to look up Lisa Frank...am not recalling her.
