The Look for Less

In all my magazines, I've been seeing those Marc Jacobs HUGE rhinestone hair pins. Being the cheap person I am, I hot glued rhinestones onto big bobby pins. You Like?

Dance Concert

My school's annual dance art benefit is this weekend. Each year the dance program and art program team up to put on a show/gallery. And since I'm in both, I was able to design the poster/tickets, etc for the event (see above picture). All proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity, so i drew the silhouettes of dancers make up a house. Here are some of my favorite songs that we are dancing to:

1. Hide and Seek - Imogen Heap
2. Hi - Psapp
3. Breathe Me - Sia
4. Dice - William Orbit
5. Stay or Leave - Dave Matthews
6. Headlock - Imogen Heap
7. The Words - Psapp
8. Tic Tac - Elisa
9. Hard to Concentrate - Red Hot Chili Peppers
10. King Without a Crown - Matisyahu

Cardigan Junkie

I don't know why but i have an obsessions with cute and different looking cardigans and button up sweaters. They are my staples. I like mine to have a patterned or cool buttons - something quirky. I had this plain ice aqua one that I kinda reinvented (it was long sleeve and boring buttons before).
Here are the directions (got this from last April's Teen Vogue - taken me time yet?):
1. Remove buttons from a long sleeved cardigan and line with grosgrain ribbon.
2. Sew vintage buttons on using needle and thread
3. Cut the sleeves at the elbow and fold them 2x; sew cuff in place
4. Stitch one big button to the outermost point of each sleeve cuff
