Stars Hollow

Isn't there something just so comforting and magical about Christmas lights. The white ones are my favorite. Last year after a holiday party, 2 of my besties and I went to take pictures in the town square. All lit up with a gazebo and everything, it looked just like a Christmas episode of Gilmore Girls!

Miss Dior Cherie

Spotted: an adorable, very French, very Marie Antoinette-esque perfume commercial premiering during Gossip Girl last Monday night. I remember watching this commercial and being very enchanted by it. After some research, I have found exactly why this commercial was so pleasing to the eye. It turns out that none other than Marie Antoinette director, Sofia Coppola, directed the advertisement for Miss Dior Cherie!

I found these ads online, which I'm sure will soon be appearing in all fashion magazines during this upcoming holiday season. I cant find the commercial on utube or anywhere, but I will be sure to post it as soon as it becomes available!

I really do not know how this smells or if I will like it, but I do know that I am a sucker for pretty packaging and presentation!

Amy Winehouse

Because when you dress up like Amy Winehouse, you have to have the attitude of Amy Winehouse!
Halloween was so much fun dressed up like Amy, apparently she and Sarah Palin were the top 2 costumes this Halloween for women. For my look, I had my artist roommate draw her tattoos on my arms (which I all have are blurry pics of). I wore a black wife beater and skinny jeans with zippers on the ankles, as well as some UBER high f-me pumps. It took like 20 mintues, layer upon ,layer of black ink liquid eye liner (no wonder she never washes herself). And after making a hole in the ozone with all the hairspray I used and TEASING, I got the effect of a beehive (it was taller than it looks in the picture). I finished off the look with candy cigs, a Chanel-esque purse, and a British accent :)
