Decadence

Finally! Here are the pictures from my graduation dessert party. Although the food was delicious, the party didn't go according to plan. In Early May in the south, you would expect a warm, humid evening, oh but no the weather decided to be extremely windy and cold at my evening dessert buffet by the pool (not holding a grudge, I swear). Needless to say all the table arrangements, etc, didn't make it to the tables because they all blew over and broke :( All the food made it though, which i guess is all everyone ever cares about anyways lol! Here are some pictures of the sweets and treats:

cotton candy

the pool

Everyone went crazy for the fondue!

rum cakes with pink coconut

cream puffs

death by chocolate

It may have gone the OPPOSITE of what i had wanted, but you cant control nature lol! At least everyone had fun and loved the food, right?

The cotton candy looks SO good! & yes, my mother thought I was selling so I can return her the money I borrowed to buy clothes last time. She went like WHAT when I said I was going to buy a new pair of sandals to replace the sandals I am sellingg ;)

Congrats on graduation!! Now, this is quite a party with or without warm weather! I would have definitely thought of Marie Antoinette even if you hadn't mentioned her in your profile;))

Hope the party was fun, and you've got a gorgeous pool!

that looks amazing! my grad party is today and luckily the rain was only at 7am, so it looks to be partly cloudy with a mild breeze, nothing short of perfect! we're having it catered w/ a fajita bar, and amazing desserts- a choc pb cake, cheesecake bites, and choc covered corn chips w/ raspberry sauce, i had a dream about the food haha
