To go on with the ghettofabulous theme I had, here is a boombox cake I made for our dance team dinner this past Sunday night.
It was yellow cake with cream cheese frosting. Then I cut off an inch from the edge to make the front, put a blank cd on it, decorated it with candies and polished it with clear piping gel.
