If There Is A Party At Your House, Go To The Library

I just saw that quote somewhere and fell in love with it :)

I survived. I am in college. I actually have adjusted to the dorm lifestyle a lot easier and better than I thought an only child like myself would. Now I am just in the process of meeting people and trying to find my niche in a group of friends again. While it can be exciting and fun, it can also be frustrating because I have no patience - building friendships takes time. But just like freshman year in high school all these worries and awkwardness will come to and end at some point (hopefully lol).

Anyways the homework and spending time in the library has already started, so this weeks playlist is devoted to libraries and all things book/story related , with described items to go with each :)

1. Libraries - Seabear
banner from Kate Spade's website

2. Books Written For Girls - Camera Obscura
the entire Twilight Saga which are truly books written for girls

3. Old Friends/Bookends - Simon and Garfunkel
bookend, Target.com

4. The Simple Story - Feist and Jane Birkin
cutest book ever - even though I am not a kid or a mom, I am asking for it for Christmas :P

5. The Book I Write - Spoon
Pen, Tiffany's Company

6. The Story - Norah Jones
fredflare.com

7. Academia - Sia
Fredflare.com

8. The Book of Love - Peter Gabriel
CD, itunes or amazon.com

9. Glasses - I'm From Barcelona
fredflare.com

10. The Story - Brandi Carlile
one of my all time favorite books - the movie version is coming out in October
HAPPY READING AND STUDYING :D

glad it went well! yea meeting people at college is really frusturating, i remember at orientation, i had the same conversation 800 times (hi, I'm jayne, I'm from MN" and people were always like "wow, you've got that down!" and its like, well, duh, you were going to ask me where i'm from in 30 seconds anyway), but i'm just trying to remember that we're all in the same boat

cute playlist, love the fred flare glasses

oh and as for your twilight comment, i really enjoyed BD because it actually had some plot and really twisted and turned, but yea it was slightly perfect at the end, my major problem with it mostly wad the name renesmee haha

Ah, school...

Friendships are always so hard to develop, but once you get them right, they're just so amazing... until one person stabs you in the back. Then everything sucks, but hopefully that won't happen.

Have fun studying!

The freshman year can be really difficult as every new beginning. I suffered quite a bit during my first two months at college. Then, suddenly you realize you are having the time of your life.
