10 Things I Hate About You

The only time I love to hate something/someone/a situation is if I have a song that CLEARLY expresses the way I feel. So if you're in that mood and want to get over something in a "fun" way just listen to these songs - and your worries will most likely decrease :)

1. Dickhead - Kate Nash
2. I Hate Everyone - Get Set Go
3. The Bitch of Living - Musical Soundtrack
4. Shit Song - Kate Nash
5. Emotional - Rilo Kiley
6. Limp - Fiona Apple
7. Chemo Limo - Regina Spektor
8. So Jealous - Tegan and Sara
9. Somebody Told Me - The Killers
10. Looking At the World from the Bottom of a Well - Mike Doughty

Good idea for a list, there's nothing like an angry song to relieve a bit of stress.

ooo kate nash is perfect for angst haha! and i read your previous posts & i'm now really into the twilight series too! :) I know that a few comments back I told you that everyone kept telling me they were must-reads, but I had no interest...well on my nice long beach vacation (where i had plenty of time to read) i finally fell in love with edward too! at first when I initially finished the first book I was only lukewarm on my liking for it, but as I was reading other books I kept thinking back to the bella/edward saga & how I HAD to know how it ended, needless to say I'm on book 2 !!

Great playlist, very Grey's Anatomyish, with Get Set Go, Rilo Kiley, and Tegan and Sarah. Kate Nash is wonderful as well.

yes initially what I disliked about Twilight was the crappy writing. I mean people were seriously comparing her to JK Rowling!? Uh no, there's not any research involved in Meyers books (though I will admit her own version of vampires is really interesting/cool), not that complex of a plotline, & just the fundamentals of good writing are missing. But once you look past that and realize just how HOT edward is you can't help but fall in love with him & the series. I'm glad though that even though you persuaded me to read it even you admit that Meyers isn't a genius b/c the way people rave about these books you'd swear she really was JKR haha. I see them as light entertainment & they make me feel really accomplished b/c I can read them so quickly haha

Hahaha, this is so awesome.. I'm downloading them all and labelling them "school"

I love chemo limo... it's so haunting and scary but the piano is reassuring. It's a very emotional song.

I'll be honest, even though I know some of these singers, I don't know any of the songs you have listed here. I think my music list might need some updating!

the titles speak for themselves.

<3 your playlist as usual. Dickhead is the funniest song ever. And Limp is kind of brilliantly angsty.
