Plaid flannels are a hipster thing, and yes I have bought into it (I got mine from the men's section at Target). Bon Iver: Apparently the band spent the whole time recording this in a tiny cabin during the winter in some freezing snowy state up north, and the sound definitely represents that - its not winter depressing or anything, but you do feel like you are taking walks in the snow when listening.

Fleet Foxes: I'm sure you have heard of these guys from Seattle. Their lush folksy sound, sounds genuine and authentic, like you are at a fall festival somewhere in the blue ridge mountains. And a lot of their songs have to do with nature and such. I am in love with the entire CD, it transcends time but takes you to another place! And is it odd that I picture snow bunnies chasing each other when I hear Fleet Foxes?

Blitzen Trapper: I only own their song "Furr" so far, but am hoping to get their whole CD soon! but I thought the wood grain cover was fitting for a lumberjack!
