Synchronized Dance

I'm in a dance piece in which we are dancing on balls - those yoga blow up ones. Its to the song "Hi" by Psapp. It reminds us all of synchronized swimming, so we want to wear vintage looking one piece bathing suits and caps.

Winter Wonderland Cake

I made this cake for my grandmother's 75th. Ice blue fondant with royal icing borders. I diluted some royal frosting and let it drip down the sides. I finished it off with shimmer sugar.

Grandma's Gems

I love getting all my grandmothers old costume jewelry- usually long beaded necklaces and bangles. Recently she gave me all these clip-on earings, charms, buttons and buckles. Wonder what I will do!

Ballerina Cake

This Marie inspired cake was covered in coconut and sprayed with a pink food dye. I placed foil fans among candles and plastic ballerinas. Finished it off with a sprinkling of sugar glitter.

Globe Cake

The plane is paper - the rest is edible.

New York Cake

This was for my NY bound friend. I bought a plain yellow toy car then colored it to look like a cab. ICING ICING ICING!

GhettoFabulous Cake

Made this for the only guy on our dance team. WARNING- I put rhinestones on the cake.

No individual was harmed when eating this cake.

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeesy Cake

Cheesy title - but thats my saying.... anyways this cake is really simple but cute. Chocolate frosting, buttercream borders, and happy bday candles. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeesy!

Sugar and Sprinkles

I gave this to my most hyper friends- why? It was soooo sugary, even tooo sugary for her. But she still loved it. I think its fun!

First Fish Fondant Cake

This was my first creation with fondant. It was a Banana Chocolate Cake with Cream cheese frosting. I covered it with pale blue fondant, cut out a fish from fondant and did little balls as the border. The seaweed is buttercream. I brought it to school and my friends devoured it!

My Favorite Cake

Suprisingly, this cake tasted as good as it looked. It was Italian Wedding cake with ice aqua cream cheese frosting. I did a buttercream basketweave and made royal frosting flowers. I do love this cake.

Lace and Roses Cake

The dork that I am I took Wilton Cake Decorating Classes. It was a gift from my parents. I was the only teen there - but it was still fun! These were my first roses I ever did and haven't done any since. lol!

Unexpected Cake

My friend pretty much told me that he wanted a cake for his birthday. So I made one, very impromtu. It was pink and was adorned with candies - very fitting for him - if you know what I mean.....

Bow Cake

So I had short notice for a cake I was supposed to make. I had the ingredients to make a vanilla cake with chocolate chips in it. But when it came to the icing - I barely had any powdered sugar! It made like 2 cups of icing for a huge 3 layer cake. The icing was really runny too. FUn. Needless to say it actally ended up looking really cute.

I cut a circle of aluminum foil and placed on top of the cake (to cover up the lack of frosting). Then i just piled on present ribbons and bows.

I put sprinkles and candies around the bottom.
