I remember the best part about going back to school was getting school supplies: New crayola markers, erasable pens and Lisa Frank folders. I'm positive every little girl owned at least one thing by Lisa Frank whether it had dolphins jumping in front of a rainbow or funky bears dancing. The scenarios were trippy (but we only dreamed about them) and the colors were vibrant.
This editorial in September's Teen Vogue really reminds me of the technicolor, girl-ruled world of Lisa Frank :)

As a 1-5th grader I was obsessed with Lisa Frank. I had the folders, erasers, sticker books, pencils, etc. That editorial really has a similar vibe, total blast from the past.
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT OF WHEN I SAW THAT EDITORIAL!
haha.
my mom never let me get Lisa Frank because it was always more expensive, but i lusted after my friends' binders etc. :)
I really want those doc style rainboots! so creative & cute
I didn't instantly think of Lisa Frank with this ed, but you're so spot on! who didn't own some technicolored trippy looking animal notebooks by her? haha
The colored boots make me happy :)
To this day I still but Lisa Frank notebooks. I have an obsession with them.
This was undoubtedly the best editorial in the September issue. I was especially smitten with the shot of the quilted rain boots sticking out of the tent. So perfectly bright! :)
ah that is so true! getting new stationary was the best part! i was obsessed with 'funky' stationary when i was little!
Aww I remember those days where I would just wait for my school supplies list to arrive. Shopping for new crayolas was the most amazing thing in the world even though I had a gazilion more at home.
I loved the editorial as well and you're right. It does remind me a lot of shopping for Lisa Frank.
I love the other-worldly colors in this spread. Now I feel I need to look up Lisa Frank...am not recalling her.
i was always in love with all things lisa frank! figures right? all of us fashion lovers were attracted to the bright colors, girly glamour and cartoony prints!
I so loved Lisa Frank! I even still buy the $1 packs of stickers and letters at Target now to send out cute notes sometimes to my friends and family!
